Heartland Minori is a daytime activity center mainly for people with mental illness/disorder to commute. Our primary objective is to assist our users in enjoying daytime activities to make the most of their hobbies and specialties, rather than earning wage. We, however, wish the community members and students to come freely and enjoy the activities together. That is the style of Type III Local Activity Support Center that Heartland Minori imagines.
Heartland Minori offers various group activities. In addition to the activities offered by our staffs, there are also group activities that are organized by the users. Everyone can enjoy activities that make the most of your hobbies and skills.
Here at Heartland Minori, we do not set any upper or lower limit for usage. You can enjoy, for example, five days a week, two days a week, one day per two weeks or half-day per week for any activities you like to join. Your usage can be combined with other welfare services (such as Type B continuus employment, transition support for employment or rehabilitation service).
When using Heartland Minori, you can decide your usage schedule at your own will. However, we encourage you to follow the schedule and the goals responsibly.
Activities at Heartland Minori are not limited within our premises. People in the community often come to join or lead the activities. We also often join the community events. At Heartland Minori, having a diasbility would never be an obstacle in supporting the community activities.
