About Theatre Minori
Based at the type III local activity support center Heartland Minori, we are a theater company consisting of varierty of members, such as handicapped people, staffs of Heartland Minori, students, community menbers and future actors and actresses.
Since its establishment in 2008, the group has performed several times a year based on the philosophy that "people can change". Unlike the welfare and rehabilitation theater aiming for people with disabilities, we sell tickets to the general public and offer professional performing arts, which can often be extended to more than 90 minutes. Yes, anyone with any circumstances can join!. We can unite with a strong desire "to change".
Everyone can be on the stage! We are always recruiting performers!
"I want to participate and perform in Theatre Minori activities", "I want to act in drama again to recall my school day dream", "I want to be involved in the stage activities as backseat players", "I want to see acting lessons some time soon" ... In order to respond to such people's desire, Theatre Minori is inviting various people to participate and perform, not limited to Heartland Minori's members with disabilities. We work not only weekday daytime, but also nighttime so that many people can easily participate. You can be a part of Theatre Minori's dream: "anyone can participate without any barriers" and "everyone can be on the stage"!
There are various way to be involved in the performance. For example, roles vary as an actor in terms of appearance frequency to accomodate your preference or your availability to join the rehearsal. Acting is not the only way to participate. You can join as backseat players such as sound, lighting, stage equipment, preparation of the performance and operation. As long as you have the passion to "participate in the performing art", you can become a member of Theatre Minori.
You can also support 'Theator Minori' as an audience!
Even if it is difficult for you to stand on the stage or be involved in our creative activities, you can get involved in Theatre Minori. You can watch the performance as an audience. The performance of Theator Minori is not limited to people concerned in supporting the disabled. We are just same as ordinary theater company which is widely open to society.
